Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held in the largest city on the Caspian Sea and in the Caucasus region, Baku, on 21 September.
What to know about the Azerbaijan Grand Prix
Established in 2017, the race takes place at the Baku City Circuit, which has a lap of the circuit is 6.003 km (3.730 mi), making it the fourth-longest circuit on the Formula Onecalendar.
The 2026 event will be held on a Saturday following a request from the promoter and relevant government stakeholders to accommodate their Remembrance Day.

The Italian Grand Prix, which was the 16th round of the 2025 Formula One World Championship, was won by Max Verstappen on 7 September.
The McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finished second and third, respectively, at the Monza Circuit, officially called the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
Standings
Piastri is still placed at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings with eight races left in the current campaign.
Norris, Verstappen and George Russell of Mercedes are placed second, third, and fourth, respectively, in the standings.
Looking at the World Constructors' Championship standings, McLaren are still placed at the top, followed by Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull Racing respectively.
Favourites
The spotlight will once again be on Russell, Piastri, Verstappen and Norris, who are the only drivers to have won a race in the 2025 Formula One World Championship season.
The Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, who are placed fifth and sixth respectively in the World Drivers' Championship standings, will be keen to register their maiden win of the season.

"We did a solid job today and I felt really comfortable in the car," Hamilton, who won the 2018 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, said after the 2025 Italian Grand Prix.
