The
2025 Valencian MotoGP is scheduled to take place in Valencia, which is the capital of the province and autonomous community of the same name in Spain, on 16 November.
What to know about the Valencian MotoGP
The Valencian MotoGP event has taken place at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo (also known as Circuit de Valencia) since the event was established in 1999.
Between 2022 and 2026, Circuit Ricardo Tormo is due to host at least three Grand Prix events. Then, the circuit will host races every year until 2031.
Most recent race
The Portuguese MotoGP, which was the 21st round of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship calendar, took place on 9 November.
Marc Bezzecchi of Aprilia won the race, while Alex Marquez of Ducati and Pedro Acosta of KTM finished second and third, respectively.
Standings
Marc Marquez is placed at the top of the 2025 MotoGP riders' standings, having already been crowned as the 2025 world champion after accumulating an insurmountable 545 points.
His brother, Alex, and Bezzecchi are placed second and third, respectively, but fourth-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati still has a slim chance of finishing third.
Looking at the constructors' standings, dominant Ducati are placed at the top, having already won the 2025 world title, while Aprilia and KTM have clinched second and third places respectively.
Favourites
Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) has confirmed that he won’t race again in 2025, which means he will miss the Valencia MotoGP as he continues his recovery from the shoulder injury sustained in Indonesia.
Therefore, all eyes will be on Alex Marquez, Bezzecchi, Bagnaia, and Acosta, who are top-five ranked riders, as they look to end the current season on a positive note by winning the final race.
Quotes
"Analyzing the entire situation, we believe that the most appropriate, clever and consistent course of action is to respect the biological timing of the injury, even if that means I will no longer be able to race this season or attend the testing session," Marc Marquez said about the injury.
"We know that a difficult winter awaits us, with a lot of work, to recover my muscles to 100% and be ready for 2026. This must not overshadow or make us forget the great goal we achieved this year: becoming World Champions again, and soon we will all celebrate it together.
"Thank you to all the fans for kindly messages, to Ducati and all the sponsors for their support and understanding".
