2025/26 Premier League

Matchday 12

Burnley FC v Chelsea FC

Turf Moor

Burnley, England

Saturday, 22 November 2025

Kick-off is at 14h30

Burnley FC will be looking to deny Chelsea FC a third successive win in the Premier League when they clash at Turf Moor on November 22.

Current Form

The Clarets suffered a 3-2 defeat to West Ham United away on 8 November and they are winless in two matches in the league, which they both lost.

Burnley also lost to Arsenal FC in their last home game and their two-match unbeaten run in the Premier League at Turf Moor came to an end.

Chelsea, on the other hand, secured a 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at home on 8 November and they are unbeaten in their last two matches in the league.

The Blues are also unbeaten in their last two away matches in the Premier League, having registered two consecutive victories as the visitors.

Team News

Jordan Beyer, Connor Roberts and Zeki Amdouni are all in Burnley's injury list, but there are no suspension concerns for the Premier League returnees.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have Levi Colwill, Dario Essugo, Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez, Benoît Badiashile, Cole Palmer and Liam Delap all on their injury list, and their teammate Mykhailo Mudryk remains suspended.

Quotes

"I was very, very, very happy at halftime, to be honest," Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca said after masterminding a win over Wolves.

"The difference between halftime and second half has been that we just scored goals. When you don't concede nothing, nothing, nothing, and you create four or five chances, you have to be clinical.

"We said many times, otherwise the game is always open, anything can happen. But fortunately, in the second half, we scored goals."

Head-to-Head

Chelsea thumped Burnley 4-1 in their last meeting in the Premier League, which was in October 2023 at Turf Moor.

Therefore, the Blues are undefeated in their last 11 matches in the league against the Clarets, having recorded eight wins and three draws.
