Jomo Cosmos will host Platinum Stars for the final match in the PSL playoffs and their respective seasons as the duo have to contend with the fact that they will both be playing the trade in the depths of the National First Division next season following Black Leopards victory over Cosmos in their crunch midweek encounter.



Ezinkozi headed into their second to last fixture aware that defeat would dash their promotion hopes in one foul slash. Karabo Tshepe’s 25^th minute strike sealed the victory for Leopards and sent the home crowd into wild celebrations at the final whistle knowing their place in the top-fight was secured once again.

There has been very little to separate the pair in this series of round robin matches, as was the case when they clashed last week, with each having just picked up two points so far from their three matches, both scoring a measly two goals in the process, in respective 2-2 home draws against eventual champions Black Leopards. That stalemate was the first meeting between Stars and Cosmos in over two years since Dikwena did the league double over Jomo Cosmos in their ill-fated 2015/16 relegation season.
