The 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic is poised to take place in Detroit, Michigan, USA between 27 and 30 June.
What to know about the tournament
Established in 2019, this event replaced the Quicken Loans National on the PGA Tour schedule, and is the first PGA Tour event to be held completely within the Detroit city limits.
It is played at the Detroit Golf Club which was established in 1899 and since then the private golf club has hosted the 1911 Western Amateur and the 1992 U.S. Mid-Amateur.

Tournament organisers have announced that Miles Russell, the 15-year-old amateur who is among the most decorated players in junior golf, will make his PGA Tour debut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic as a sponsor exemption.
In 2023, Russell became the youngest player to be named the American Junior Golf Association Player of the Year (supplanting Tiger Woods). He won the Junior PGA Championship and the Junior Players Championship in September.
Therefore, he became the youngest champion of both events and earned a spot on the U.S. Junior Ryder Cup Team, while also being named to the first USGA Junior National team.
Favourites
Defending champion Rickie Fowler, Cameron Young, Tom Kim and Chris Kirk will headline the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic field.
Akshay Bhatia, Min Woo Lee, Stephan Jaeger, Will Zalatoris and 2019 Rocket Mortgage Classic winner Nate Lashley will also be part of the 156-player field.
What Is At Stake
The 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic purse is set for $9,2 million, with the winner receiving $1,65 million and 500 FedEx Cup points.
The champion will also receive a stunning 50-pound, two-foot-tall Rocket Mortgage Classic trophy.
