Max Verstappen will be eager to end his win drought in the 2025 Formula One World Championship by clinching the British Grand Prix.

The Red Bull Racing driver failed to secure a podium spot at the Austrian Grand Prix on June 29, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Verstappen started on the seventh grid, but he was forced to retire after being involved in a collision with Mercedes' Andrea Kimi Antonelli, and he couldn't collect a single point.
Formula One title ambitions
The Dutch and Belgian racing driver is still placed third in the World Drivers' Championship standings, having collected 155 points.
Verstappen is 46 points behind second-placed Lando Norris of McLaren and 61 points behind leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren.
Why Verstappen could win the 2025 British Grand Prix
The four-time Formula One world champion has failed to win the last four races and he must win the British Grand Prix in order to get his title defence back on track.
Verstappen, who has secured podium spots in the last two British Grand Prix races, winning the 2023 event and finishing second in 2024, will be keen to win the race for the second time in his career.
What did he say?
"There are bits coming," said about the battle for the Formula One world title after the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix.
"Is it enough to challenge McLaren? I'm not sure yet. Probably not. But, I also don't want to sound depressed. I know that everyone in the team always gives it 100%.
"And, we keep pushing, keep learning, keep trying to bring more performance to the car. And, that's the only thing that we can do."
