Al-Hilal will be looking to add another feather to their cap when they take on Fluminense in the 2025 Club World Cup quarter-finals at the Camping World Stadium on Friday, July 4.

The Blue Waves have already achieved a few surprise results in the revamped intercontinental competition and they are still unbeaten after four matches, a feat made more impressive by the fact that Simone Inzaghi was only appointed head coach on June 4.
Inzaghi's side held record 15-time European champions Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw in their Group H opener on June 18 and caused the biggest shock yet as they battled back from behind to beat Manchester City 4-3 in the round of 16 on July 1.

The Tricolor have also yet to taste defeat in the United States and qualified for the knockout stages as runners-up to Borussia Dortmund in Group F with a record of one win and two draws.
Renato Gaucho's side, who were losing finalists in the 2023 edition when they were beaten 4-0 by the Citizens, booked their place in the last eight courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Inter Milan on June 30.

Inzaghi paid tribute to his players for applying themselves exceptionally well in the short time has had to work with them, likening their win against City to scaling "Everest without oxygen".
"It is barely three weeks that we are together and you can see the level of application, they really put the effort in. As a coach clearly that is very satisfying. The lads delivered that performance, they have reached the quarter-finals," the Italian said.

"We knew had to do something extraordinary if we were to beat Manchester City and that is what the boys did tonight, the lads were simply wonderful.
"We had to be extraordinary because well, Manchester City, we all know that team. So we had to climb Everest without oxygen to win the game and we made it."

Gaucho credited his players for adapting to a new strategy by going with just three at the back against the Nerazzurri and believing in themselves when not many others did.
"We weren't used to playing that way, but over the last three days, I got it into my players' heads that it was possible. We respected the opponent, of course, but we showed everyone that we believed," the Brazilian said.

"We faced a top team with far more money than us, but once on the pitch, it's one versus one... My team gave everything. They stayed focused, dedicated.
"This group deserves all the credit. And our fans too - what a celebration. People all over Brazil should enjoy this. We're among the final eight, and many didn't believe we could make it."
