Celta are also undefeated in their seven home matches in the league having five victories and two draws at the Abanca-Balaídos.
Meanwhile, Valencia succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to FC Barcelona at home on 17 August as they extended their winless run to eight matches in La Liga.
The Bats are also winless in their last three away league matches in the league having registered two successive defeats and one draw as the visitors.
Team News
Lucas de la Torre, Vicente Guaita and Mihailo Ristic are on Celta's injury list, but the Sky Blues have no suspension issues coming into this match.
On the other hand, Valencia will be without injured players Sergi Canós, José Gayà, Jaume Doménech, Fran Pérez and Mouctar Diakhaby Pino, but the club doesn't have suspension worries.
Quotes
"We did well in our own way. It's clear that they were very good with the ball, but we defended well and brought it out well," Valencia attacker Hugo Duro said after his side's defeat to Barcelona.
"But as I said, we have to be smarter, we have to draw on more experience, because even though we are young, I think that many of us have already played several games and we have to know how to read those moments.
"In the end I am a person who believes that we learn from mistakes. I wish they didn't happen, but in football that's what happens. So as I said, we have to learn. It's a shame, and we're hurting, of course."
Head-to-Head
Celta and Valencia drew 2-2 in their last meeting in La Liga with the match taking place at the Abanca-Balaídos on 26 May 2024.
As a result, the Bats are undefeated in their last seven La Liga matches against the Sky Blues having registered five wins and two draws.
