Athletic Bilbao will lock horns with a wounded Valencia FC side in a
La Liga match at the San Mames on 28 August.
Current Form
The Lions succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to FC Barcelona away on 24 August and they are winless in their last two matches in the Spanish top-flight.
However, Bilbao are unbeaten in their 19 home matches in the league having 12 victories and seven draws at the San Mames..
Meanwhile, Valencia suffered a 3-1 defeat to Celta Vigo away on 23 August as they extended their winless run to nine matches in La Liga.
The Bats are also winless in their last four away matches in the competition having registered three defeats and one draw.
Team News
Aitor Paredes, Álvaro Djaló, Ruíz de Galarreta, Nico Serrano and Unai Simón are on Bilbao's injury list, but they have no suspension issues coming into this match.
On the other hand, Valencia will be without injured players Sergi Canós, José Gayà, Jaume Doménech, Fran Pérez and Mouctar Diakhaby, but the club doesn't have suspension worries.

“We're doing well. When you come to play against an opponent like Barça, who are candidates to win any title, it's normal that we'll have to suffer and work hard," Bilbao manager Ernesto Valverde said after the defeat to Barcelona.
"The match against Getafe was different. This is a daily battle in which we always have to fight to win. Today we didn't manage it, it was tough, but we really gave it a go.
"It's true we still haven't won yet and now we're in a slightly more difficult position against Valencia. But it's another chance to get three points. "We always give our best and we'll do so on Wednesday."
Head-to-Head
Valencia secured a 1-0 win over Bilbao in their last meeting in La Liga with the match taking place at Estadio de Mestalla on 20 January.
As a result, the Bats are undefeated in their last two La Liga matches against the Lions having registered one win and one draw.
