Billy Horschel will be hoping to record his eighth victory on the PGA Tour by clinching the
Corales Puntacana Championship trophy.

The American golfer has won nine professional tournaments since he turned pro in 2009 which was the same year he graduated from the University of Florida.
Horschel boasts of seven victories on the PGA Tour and his best performance in a golf major came at the 2013 US Open where he finished fourth,

The last time the 2014 FedEx Cup champion played some competitive golf was at the 2024 Valero Texas Open where he missed the cut.
Horschel is currently placed 84th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his highest ranking is 11th.
Why Horschel is one of the favourites
The experienced golfer is slowly regaining his old form having finished in the top 10 in two of his last five PGA Tour tournaments.
Horschel finished ninth at the Cognizant Classic and seventh at the Texas Children's Houston Open this year and he will be confident of winning this weekend's event.

"I know I've had to play well this year. I haven't played badly, I just haven't played well enough, and to play well the last couple weeks to finally get myself in a position to be able to qualify for one of the Signature Events is huge," Horschel said ahead of the 2024 Valero Texas Open.
"We know what those events are. We can talk about the money, we can talk about the (FedEx Cup) points, but for me it's more or less the world ranking points, getting to play against the best players in the world and compare myself against the best players in the world is where I want to be.
"Get myself back up in the world rankings, get myself back into the majors."
