The 2022
Nedbank Golf Challenge is set to take place in Sun City, South Africa between 10 and 13 November.
The tournament which is part of the European Tour and Sunshine Tour was first played in 1981 and the event is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
Nicknamed Africa's Major, the Nedbank Golf Challenge makes its returns after being cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The current champion is Tommy Fleetwood having won the last tournament which took place in 2019 - making him the longest serving defending champion.
Fleetwood will be among the world-class field of 66 professionals who will contest this week’s historic 40th edition of the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
Recent DP World Tour winners Ryan Fox, Robert MacIntyre and Guido Migliozzi will tee off in a tournament which has a $6 million purse, with the winner's share coming in at $1,000,000.
Branden Grace, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Dean Burmester and Thriston Lawrence, and European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald will also be part of the field.

Lee Westwood, Ernie Els, Nick Price and David Frost have won the Nedbank Golf Challenge which was formerly known as the Million Dollar Challenge record three times.
