2025/26 Premier League
Matchday 27
Chelsea FC v Burnley FC
Stamford Bridge
London, England
Saturday, 21 February 2026
Kick-off: 17h00
Chelsea FC will be looking to silence Burnley FC when the two teams meet in a Premier League encounter at the Stamford Bridge on 21 February.
Current Form
The Blues drew 2-2 with Leeds United at home on 10 February as their four-match winning streak in the league came to an end, but they are undefeated in five games in the competition.
Chelsea are also unbeaten in their last four home matches in the Premier League, having recorded two draws and two consecutive victories at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Burnley claimed a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace away on 11 February as they snapped their 16-match winless run in the English top tier.
The win also ended the Clarets' seven-match winless run on the road in the Premier League, having registered two draws and four defeats as the away side.
Team News
Chelsea have Marc Cucurella, Tosin Adarabioyo, Jamie Gittens, Romeo Lavia, Filip Jørgensen, Reece James, and Dario Essugo on their injury list, while Mykhailo Mudryk is still suspended over an ongoing anti-doping case.
Burnley, on the other hand, are currently dealing with some players sidelined due to injuries, including Josh Cullen, Jordan Beyer, Zeki Amdouni, Mike Trésor, Connor Roberts, and Axel Tuanzebe (doubtful) and no players currently listed as suspended.
Quotes
"Pedro Neto brings us so many different qualities that we need," Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior said about Pedro Neto after the player grabbed a hat-trick against Hull City in the FA Cup clash on February 13.
"For me, he’s a world-class player, a world-class winger. And what I love about him, as talented as he is and as gifted as he is, what he sacrifices for the team is top.
"He's going to be really, really important for us for where I think we can get to and what we can achieve for the rest of the season."
Head-to-Head
Chelsea claimed a 2-0 win over Burnley in their last Premier League meeting which was at Turf Moor in November 2025.
The win extended the Blues' unbeaten run in the league against Clartes to 12 matches, having recorded nine wins and three draws.
