The 2017 Tour De France which is the 104th edition of the competition is scheduled to begin on the 1st of July and conclude on the 23rd of July.
The racers will start the race in Dusseldorf, Germany and finish stage two in Liege, Belgium. The third stage includes a brief passage through Luxembourg. The final stage will start in Montgeron, before concluding with the traditional laps of the Champs-Elysees which is an avenue in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France.
The defending champion is Chris Froome, who won last year's Tour De France. The Team Sky member's winning time was 89h 04' 48''. The British cyclist will face stiff competition from Colombian Nairo Quintana, who finished second at the 2013 Tour De France and third last year. Frenchman Romain Bardet, who is a AG2R La Mondiale rider, finished second in 2016. He will be amongst the favourites this year.
