The
2019 Belgian Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, August 4 in Stavelot which is a Walloon municipality in the Belgian province of Liege.
This will be the 13th round of this year's Championship and it is set to take place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
It is one of the most challenging race tracks in the world, mainly due to its fast, hilly and twisty nature.
Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel will be keen to defend his Belgian Grand Prix title having won the race three times.
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen of Red Bull finished second, and third respectively last year.
Hamilton remains at the top of the Drivers’ Championship standings having won the previous race which was the Hungarian Grand Prix.
His teammate Valtteri Bottas is placed second on the standings - 62 points behind Hamilton with nine races left.
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen cemented his place in third place after finishing second at the Hungarian GP.
Mercedes are still at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings with 438 points.
Vettel's Ferrari are placed second on the standings - 150 points behind the leaders ahead of this year's Belgian GP.
