The
2018 Ryder Cup will be held at the Le Golf National in Guyancourt, Île-de-France, France between 28 and 30 September.
It will be the 42nd Ryder Cup matches and it will be the second tournament to be held in Continental Europe, after the 1997 contest, which was staged in Spain.
The United States of America (USA) are the defending champion having won the previous tournament at the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.
Jim Furyk is Team USA captain and Tiger Woods had previously been named a vice-captain.
However, Woods will no longer serve in this position as he was chosen to be one of Furyk's captain's picks.
Furyk has named Steve Stricker, David Duval, Zach Johnson and Matt Kuchar as his vice-captains.
Legendary Danish golfer Thomas Bjorn will captain Team Europe as they look to win the Ryder Cup for the first time since 2014.
Swedish golfer Robert Karlsson will serve as Bjorn's first vice-captain having being picked in May 2017.
Four more vice-captains: Luke Donald, Pádraig Harrington, Graeme McDowell and Lee Westwood have since been selected by Bjorn.
