The American fighter is a former interim lightweight champion and he is currently the number one contender in the UFC lightweight rankings.
Ferguson, 36, is tied with Khabib Nurmagomedov in holding twelve consecutive wins in the lightweight division and he is widely regarded by pundits as one of the best lightweights in the history of the UFC.
His best trait is probably his 'toughness', and his ability to take a punch and keep going forward.
4. Kamaru Usman

The Nigerian fighter is the current welterweight champion. The 32-year-old is also number seven in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.
Usman, who holds a black belt in jiu-jitsu, has defeated big names like Leon Edwards, Rafael dos Anjos, and Tyron Woodley on his way to being crowned welterweight champion.
Kamara has explained why he is not interested in fighting fellow UFC champions Khabib Nurmagomedov (lightweight) and Israel Adesanya (middleweight).
“I would never fight Khabib – that’s my brother,” Usman said on the “JRE MMA Show” podcast with UFC commentator Joe Rogan.
“It’s just a mutual respect. I don’t see myself ever fighting Khabib. I don’t see myself ever fighting Israel, even though a lot of people have hinted toward it. I don’t see myself fighting him. Having two belts in Nigeria is better than just having one guy hold two belts. There’s no desire there. That’s my guy. He’s special.”

The American fighter, who is an Olympic Gold medalist, is a former flyweight champion, but he has since clinched the bantamweight belt.
Cejudo, 33, is also the fourth person to hold titles in two different weight classes simultaneously and he is number three in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.

Jones is the current and two-time undisputed light-heavyweight champion. The 32-year-old holds many UFC records in the division, including the most wins, longest win streak, and most submission victories.
Legendary UFC fighter Daniel Cormier has lauded Jones as the best fighter in the world.
"I think what that shows, is that Jon Jones is not only a great fighter, he's a guy that loves being a UFC champion," Cormier said Bleacher Report.

Nurmagomedov, 31, is number two in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings and his style of grappling has made him one of the most dominant athletes in the history of MMA.
