The
2021 Waste Management Phoenix Open will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA between 4 and 7 February.
This will be the 83rd edition of the PGA Tour tournament which began 89 years ago in 1932, but it was discontinued after the 1935 competition and it resumed in 1939.
The tournament was originally called the Arizona Open, but it has been known for most of its history as the Phoenix Open. Waste Management began its sponsorship in 2010.

The competition's relaxed atmosphere, raucous by the standards of professional golf, has earned it the nickname 'The Greatest Show on Grass.'
Webb Simpson is the defending champion having won the Waste Management Phoenix Open last year.
The American star clinched the title after a playoff against his compatriot Tony Finau.
Simpson will be hoping to defend his title this year, but he will be up against some of the best golfers in the world at the TPC Scottsdale.

Golf major title winners Jason Day, Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Jimmy Walker and Gary Woodland are all part of the 2021 field.
Fewer than 5,000 fans will be allowed per day inside the gates of TPC Scottsdale to attend this year's tournament.
This has been confirmed by tournament's chairman Scott Jenkins when citing the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic as the reason for allowing fewer than 5,000 supporters at the event.
"We remain hopeful we can host an extremely limited number of socially distanced fans at 'The People’s Open'."
"And in light of the current COVID climate, we have decided to further reduce our attendance to fewer than 5,000 fans each day," Jenkins said in a statement.
There have been four multiple winners of the Phoenix Open, all three-time champions: Phil Mickelson, Arnold Palmer, Gene Littler and Mark Calcavecchia.
