South Africa will take on Australia in their fifth match of the 2018 Rugby Championship at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
The Springboks beat New Zealand 36-34 in their previous match which was played in Wellington, New Zealand two weeks ago.
The victory saw South Africa cut New Zealand's lead at the top of the Championship standings having collected 10 points from four games.
They will be eyeing their second successive victory when they square off with a wounded Australia side.
Meanwhile, Australia suffered a 23-19 defeat to Argentina in their previous match which was played in the Gold Coast two weeks ago.
As a result, the Wallabies slipped down to fourth place on the Championship standings having accumulated five points from four matches.
They will be desperate for a victory when they take on a rejuvenated South Africa side.
The last meeting between South Africa and Australia was on the 8th of September 2018.
The Wallabies beat the Springboks 23-18 in the 2018 Rugby Championship game which was played in Brisbane.
