South Africa will take on Australia in their first match of the 2019 Rugby Championship at the Emirates Airline Park Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.
The Springboks will return to action for the first time since they lost 20-11 to Wales at the Principality Stadium on 24 November 2018.
Prior to that South Africa had defeated Scotland 26-20 at the BT Murrayfield Stadium on 17 November 2018.
Rassie Erasmus, the Springboks coach, will be looking to lead his side to their first Rugby Championship title this year.
Eben Etzebeth will also captain the boks in tje absence of regular captain Siya Kolisi who is out injured.
Meanwhile, Australia will play their first match since they lost 37-18 to England at the Twickenham Stadium on 24 November 2018.
Before that, the Wallabies had defeated Italy 26-7 at the Stadio Euganeo on 17 November 2018.
Australia captain Michael Hooper will be looking to lead the Wallabies to their second
Rugby Championship title this year.
The last meeting between South Africa and Australia was on the 29th of September 2018.
The Springboks beat the Wallabies 23-12 in the 2018 Rugby Championship game which was played in Port Elizabeth.
