Jordan Spieth will be hoping to use his experience to help Team USA reclaim the
Ryder Cup having been part of the team that won the tournament in 2016.
Known as the face of American golf, Spieth will be playing in his fourth consecutive Ryder Cup, the longest string of appearances on the US Team.
After a resurgent 2020-21 season ー which included 9 top-10s and an April win at the Valero Texas Open ー Spieth returns to the Whistling Straits.

Despite pushing on the final 9 holes (and finishing 17 under par), Spieth was runner-up to Jason Day in the 2015 PGA Championship at the Whistling Straits.
Spieth partnered with Justin Thomas at the 2016 Ryder Cup and they claimed three wins from four matches before losing 5&4 to Thorbjorn Olesen in the singles.
The Texas-born golfer went almost four years without a victory before winning the Valero Texas Open in April this year.
Then at this year's The Open Championship, Spieth shot a final round 66, finishing runner-up on a score of −13, two shots behind Collin Morikawa.

Spieth, a three-time Ryder Cupper with a 7-2-2 record not including his 0-3 singles mark, is looking forward to this year's tournament.
"If it were last year I may not have made the team, so in a weird way I feel kind of fortunate that this goal was set at the beginning of this year for me," Spieth said.
"It was kind of a lofty one, I had to make up a lot of ground ... just very happy that Captain Strick [Steve Stricker] has put his trust in me."
