South Africa will take on Zimbabwe in the first match of the
T20I Series at the Buffalo Park in East London this evening.
The Proteas secured a four-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the third and final ODI Series match at the Boland Park on Saturday.
Reeza Hendricks and Heinrich Klaasen both caught the eye as they hit half-centuries during the team's victory and South Africa completed a 3-0 sweep in a series.
The two players will be looking to inspire the Proteas to victory in the first T20I Series match.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe batsman Sean Williams led an improving battling performance by the Chevrons against the Proteas.
The 32-year-old hit 69, while fast bowler Donald Tiripano took two wickets as the Chevrons registered their third successive defeat in the ODI Series.
Williams and Tiripano will be keen to play an important role in helping the Chevrons stun the Proteas in the first T20I Series match.
