2022 Autumn internationals
England v South Africa
Twickenham
London, England
Saturday, 26 November 2022
Kick-off is at 19h30
South Africa will be looking to end the year on a high against England at Twickenham on Saturday, November 26.
The Springboks bounced back from their defeats to Ireland and France in the
2022 Autumn internationals by trouncing Italy 63-21 in Genoa last weekend.
Up by just five points at the break, Jacques Nienaber's side scored seven tries in the second half to put the contest to bed, ending any hopes the Italians had of causing another upset after they beat Australia for the first time the previous weekend.
Nienaber has made six changes for the test in London, with Thomas du Toit, Ntuthuko Mchunu, Marco van Staden, Johan Goosen, Grant Williams and Canan Moodie replacing Vincent Koch, Trevor Nyakane, Jasper Wiese, Cobus Reinach, Cheslin Kolbe and Andre Esterhuizen - the outgoing six having returned to their respective clubs.

South Africa haven't beaten the English at Twickenham since 2014 and their most recent victory came in the 2019 World Cup final. Nienaber is aware of the threat that the home team will pose but he wants to wrap up the tour with back-to-back wins.
"We know it is going to be a tough challenge, and as coaches we have already started turning our attention to that match," the Boks head coach said.
"There are a lot of positives we can take from the Tests against Italy, France and Ireland, but England will pose a completely different challenge and we need to be ready for that.
"We really want to build momentum and finish the tour on a positive note, so we will work as hard as we can this week to achieve that."
England staged a remarkable comeback to draw 25-25 with New Zealand last weekend after trailing by 19 points with just eight minutes left on the clock.
Eddie Jones' men kicked off the 2022 Autumn internationals with a narrow 30-29 defeat to Argentina before recording a comprehensive 52-13 victory over Japan.

Jones has named an unchanged squad for the contest with the world champions and Manu Tuilagi could make his 50th appearance for the Red Rose.
Maro Itoje is expected to feature this weekend and the lock hopes his team can carry that same fighting spirit on display against the All Blacks over to their contest with the Springboks.
"Playing South Africa at Twickenham - I'm really looking forward to it. I only wish the game is a little bit sooner because we left a lot out there against New Zealand," Itoje said.
"While the second half was a bit more how we want to play, this week is an opportunity to hopefully play how we want to for the full 80 minutes.
"You never want to be too happy with a draw, but it's better than losing. Hopefully, it will Sporting put us in better stead for South Africa, who will be a great challenge."
