Freiburg will face off with Bayer Leverkusen in a German
Bundesliga match at the Schwarzwald-Stadion on May 29.
The Breisgau-Brazilians managed to hold Eintracht Frankfurt to a 3-3 away in a match which was played on May 26.
The draw extended Freiburg's winless run to three matches in the league having recorded two draws and one defeat.
They have been inconsistent at home in the Bundesliga having recorded three defeats and two wins in their last five matches as the hosts.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen succumbed to a 4-1 defeat to Wolfsburg at home in a match which was played on May 26.
The defeat ended the Company's XI's seven-match unbeaten run in the league having registered one draw and six victories in the competition.
However, they are unbeaten in their previous four away matches in the Bundesliga having recorded three victories and one draw on the road.
Lukas Hradecky, the Leverkusen goalkeeper, was disappointed with the performance against Wolfsburg and hopes they bounce back soon.
"Our performance today was unacceptable," Hradecky said.
"Wolfsburg were more vicious and we couldn't make use of our footballing quality. We have to make sure that this remains a one-off."
The last time Freiburg faced Leverkusen in a league match was on 23 November 2019. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in a match which was played at the BayArena.
