The
2019 PGA Championship will take place at the Black Course in Bethpage State Park, Farmingdale, New York, the the USA between 16-20 May.
This is one of the four major championships in professional golf and Bethpage Black will host the PGA Championship for the first time.
The venue has hosted the U.S Open in 2002 and 2009, won by Tiger Woods and Lucas Glover, respectively.
American golfer Brooks Koepka is the defending champion having won last year's tournament and it was his third major title.
This year's field will feature 34 major champions, 69 international players and 12 players, who have been ranked No. 1 in the world.
Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, world-No.1-ranked Dustin Johnson and Jason Day are some of the big names which are set to participate in this year's tournament.
American golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Walter Hagen are the most successful players in the history of the PGA Championship with five titles each.
Their compatriot Woods will be hoping to win a record-equalling fifth PGA Championship title this year having won his last trophy in 2007.
The tournament has an $11 million purse with a winner's share of $1.980 million.
