2024 Texas Children's Hospital Houston Open is poised to take place in Houston, Texas, USA between 28 and 31 March.
What to know about the tournament
The Houston Open was founded in 1946 and it has been held at different venues including the River Oaks Country Club, Memorial Park Golf Course and Pine Forest Country Club.
The PGA Tour event which was not staged in 2023 is operated by the Astros Foundation, under the umbrella Astros Golf Foundation.
News
The 2024 event will see a return to a calendar-year format for the PGA Tour, with the event returning to a spring date in March, being sponsored by Texas Children's Hospital.
Texas Children's Hospital and Houston Open agreed on a new five-year agreement beginning in 2024 and running through 2028.

Headlining the 2024 Texas Children's Hospital Houston Open field are Scottie Scheffler, Sahith Theegala, Wyndham Clark and defending champion Tony Finau.
Peter Malnati, who won the most recent tournament in the 2024 PGA Tour schedule, will also be part of the 144-player field at the Memorial Park Municipal Golf Course.

The 2024 Texas Children's Hospital Houston Open purse is set for $9,1 million, with the winner's share coming in at $1,6 million.
This year, the winner will also receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a new Texas Children's Hospital Houston Open trophy.
