Rayo Vallecano will face Sevilla FC in a

The Red Sashes succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Cadiz CF away in their previous league game which was played on March 6.
The defeat extended Vallecano's winless run to eight matches in this competition having recorded one draw and seven defeats.

The Red Sashes are also winless in their last four matches at home in La Liga having registered three consecutive defeats and one draw at the Estadio de Vallecas.
Meanwhile, Sevilla were held to a 0-0 draw by Deportivo Alaves away in their last league match which was played on March 4.
Therefore, Sevillistas are now undefeated in their last 13 matches in this competition having recorded six draws and seven wins.
Sevilla are also undefeated in their last six matches on the road in La Liga having registered two successive wins and four consecutive draws as the visitors.

"It's a draw on a complex pitch in difficult circumstances. A 0-0 draw doesn't show all the chances that were created by both teams," Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui said after their clash with Alaves.
"Perhaps the clearest chance fell for us at the end and we did not take advantage of it. It is time to move forward, although we came with the intention of adding the three points, as always.
"They pressed, we know the [Jose Luis] Mendilibar teams and they have their motivation, like us ours. We had to impose ours and get the three points, today it couldn't be".
The last meeting between Vallecano and Sevilla in a league match was on 15 August 2021.
Sevilla claimed a well-deserved 3-0 victory over Vallecano in an encounter which was played at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan - the ninth-largest stadium in Spain.
