TP Mazembe will host SuperSport United in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup Group D match at the Stade du TP Mazembe on Sunday. The Ravens drew 1-1 with Guinea's Horoya in their previous group match which was played in Conakry last week Wednesday. The draw extended Mazembe's unbeaten run in this year's tournament to four matches. They recorded two draws and two wins. The Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C) giants are undefeated at home in this competition since 2007. SuperSport defeated Gabon's CF Mounana 5-3 in their previous group match which was played in Libreville last week Tuesday. The win extended Matsatsantsa's unbeaten run in this year's competition to five matches. They have recorded three wins and two draws. The last time the South African side tasted defeat away in the Confederation Cup was three months ago. Sudanese side Al Ahly Shendi beat SuperSport 3-2. This will be the first ever competitive meeting between Mazembe and SuperSport.
