The Mexican racing driver finished third at the Austrian Grand Prix on July 2 having started 15th on the grid and he impressively managed to secure a podium spot.
Perez picked up 15 important points which boosted his ambitions of winning the 2023 Formula One world championship.
Formula One title ambitions
The Guadalajara-born star is placed second on the World Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated 148 points from nine races.
Perez is 81 points behind leader Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT as the battle for the championship continues.

Finishing third at the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix has boosted Perez's confidence ahead of the British Grand Prix where he finished second last year.
The 33-year-old, who won this season's Saudi Grand Prix and Azerbaijan Grand Prix, will be looking to record his third victory of the season,
What did he say?
"Yeah man, I'm really happy you know, it's been a very difficult week for me personally," Perez said after the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix.
"Physically I have been really weak, I was sick on Thursday so it hasn't been an easy weekend. [I've had a] high fever and no sleep during the weekend,
"So [it was] great recovery from the team and a fantastic strategy, we have great pace."
