The Chicago Bulls will look to hunt the Atlanta Hawks when the teams meet in an NBA Regular Season game at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on the morning of Friday 25 February 2022. Tip-off is at 03:00.
The Bulls are very much in the fight to finish at the top of the Eastern Conference standings, with Chicago hoping to oust the likes of the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers.

A major part of the Bulls’ strength this season has been DeMar DeRozan, who has explained that a recent chat with former world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather has inspired his relentless approach: “I'm not (a) knockout puncher. I want to wear you down because I know I can go the length,” DeRozan said, “however long I need to go.”
The Hawks, meanwhile, are competitors more for a place in the Play-In tournament rather than for the Playoffs, which will get underway in April. Atlanta, though, can hurt the big teams when the mood takes them, as was the case last week when a 41-point haul from Trae Young secured a victory over the Cavaliers.

“Our defence was solid from start to finish, and I thought we got better with our pressure... just really a team effort getting pressure on," coach Nate McMillan said. “The pressure was turned up, and the offensive execution I thought was really good."
Young added, “I just thought we played good. We made shots and got stops when we needed to. Besides that first quarter, they didn’t really have a big quarter. [Now] just a clear mind and come back after the break and finish the season strong.”
In head-to-head stats, the Bulls and the Hawks have met in 250 Regular Season games since 1966-67, with Chicago claiming 134 wins compared to 116 for Atlanta. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in December 2021, with the Bulls winning 131-117 at home thanks to 25 points from Zach LaVine.
