England will face off with Australia in the second
ODI match which is scheduled to take place at the Sophia Gardens in Wales on Saturday.
The Poms won the first ODI game by three wickets with England batsman and bowler Moeen Ali scooping the Man of the Match award at the The Oval in London on Wednesday.
Off-spinner Ali impressively took three for 43 in 10 overs and leg-spinner Adil Rashid two for 36 after Australia captain Tim Paine won the toss.
England captain Joe Root and Ali will be hoping to play an important role in helping the Poms secure another victory against the Baggy Green.
Meanwhile, Australia are a wounded side and they know that they need to score more runs to put pressure on England in the coming matches.
It was Australia’s first international action since the ball-tampering scandal that saw Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft suspended.
Paine captained the Baggy Green for the first time in ODIs, while Glenn Maxwell hit 62 from 64 balls in the first ODI. The duo could be key to Australia’s victory in the second encounter.
