England will take on India in the first
ODI match which is scheduled to take place at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Thursday.
The Poms are heading into this match having lost to India by seven wickets in the third T20I game at the Bristol County Ground in Bristol, England on Sunday.
England made only 87 runs from the final 10 overs to post 198-8 after batting first.
Right-handed batsman Jason Roy, who made 67 runs from 31 balls, will be looking to inspire England to victory against India in the first ODI.
Meanwhile, India are brimming with confidence having won the T20I series 2-1 against England.
The Men in Blue's Rohit Sharma became the fifth player overall, and the second Indian, to score 2,000 runs in T20Is in the third match.
Sharma, who also became the second batsman to score three centuries in T20Is, will be keen to play an important role in helping his side defeat England again.
The last meeting between England and India in an ODI match was on the 30th of January 2015.
The Poms successfully chase down 201 to win by three wickets at the WACA Ground in Perth, Western Australia.
