The Phoenix Suns will square off with the Memphis Grizzlies in the National Basketball Association (NBA) match on December 24.
This will be the 99th meeting in the regular-season games between the two teams since the 1995/96 term which was the Grizzlies' maiden NBA season.
The Suns have the edge in this rivalry having registered 58 victories compared to the Grizzlies' 40 wins.
The last meeting between the Suns and Grizzlies was on 2 April 2022 in a game that was played at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
Dillon Brooks was influential as he scored 30 points and the Grizzlies beat the Suns 122-114 as they extended their winning streak to seven.
The Suns are currently placed fourth in the Western Conference having recorded 18 wins and 12 defeats from 30 matches.
While the Grizzlies are sitting at the top of the Western Conference having registered 19 victories and 10 defeats from 29 games.

Suns defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 118-114 on Sunday, December 18 as Devin Booker finished the game with 58 points on 60% shooting which included 25 straight points on his own shoulders.
“I told the coaches this morning that he was approaching something. He doesn’t have those kinds of shooting nights consecutively," Suns coach Monty Williams said about Booker.
"I saw how frustrated he was in Los Angeles, and I was like, I have to find a way to get him going. I wish it was something I did, or schematically we tried to figure some things out.
"He just had one of those nights."
