Los Angeles Lakers will face off with the Denver Nuggets in a
National Basketball Association (NBA) match on December 18.
This will be the 188th meeting between the two teams in regular-season games since 1976 when Nuggets joined the NBA.
The Lakers have been dominant in this rivalry having registered 112 wins compared to the Nuggets' 75 victories.

It was the Lakers who emerged victorious in their last meeting which was on 31 October 2022 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, USA.
The Lakers earned their first win of the current NBA season as LeBron James led them to a 121-110 victory against the Nuggets.
The Lakers are sitting in 12th place on the Western Conference standings having recorded 11 victories and 15 defeats from 26 games.
While the Nuggets are placed third on the Western Conference standings having registered 16 wins and 10 defeats from 26 matches.
After beating a depleted Utah Jazz team, 115-110 on Sunday, December 11 at Ball Arena, the Nuggets improved to 16-10.
“We can’t pick and choose when we want to defend,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said after the victory.
“That’s what’s going on right now a little bit too often. That game was hanging in the balance and we were able to get some key stops.
“We were able to get to the foul line, and we made just enough plays to pull away a little bit at the end.”
