Chiefs will take on Hurricanes in the 2018 Super Rugby match at the Waikato Stadium on Friday.



The Chiefs secured a 24-19 victory against Australian side Brumbies at home in a game which was played last weekend.
 
The win left the New Zealand side placed fifth on the overall Super Rugby standings having accumulated 45 points from 15 games.
 
They will be looking to record their third consecutive victory having defeated fellow New Zealand side Highlanders 45-22 away almost two weeks ago



Meanwhile, Hurricanes recorded a 42-24 win over fellow New Zealand side Blues at home in a game which was played last weekend.
 
As a result, the Hurricanes placed fourth on the overall Super Rugby standings having collected 50 points from 15 matches.
 
They are targeting their second successive win having lost to Brumbies 24-12 away, before facing Blues.
