The 2022
British Grand Prix, which is also known as Monster Energy British Grand Prix will, take place in a village called Silverstone in England on August 7.
This will be the 12th round of this year's Championship and it will take place at the Silverstone Circuit which is one of the most famous race tracks in the world.
Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo won last year's British MotoGP with Alex Rins of Suzuki and Aprilia rider Aleix Espargaró finishing second and third respectively.
The most recent race of the 2022 MotoGP campaign was the Dutch MotoGP, also known as Motul TT Assen and it took place on June 26.
Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia won the 2022 Dutch MotoGP as the Italian rider recorded his third win of the season having also won the Italian MotoGP and Spanish MotoGP.
Marco Bezzecchi of Ducati finished second in the Dutch MotoGP and Aprilia rider Maverick Viñales secured the third spot following an entertaining race.
Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo, who won the 2021 MotoGP World Championship, remains at the top of the 2022 riders' standings with 172 points.
While Aleix Espargaro of Aprilia, the Ducati duo of Johann Zarco and Bagnaia are placed second, third, and fourth on the standings with 151 points, 114 points, and 106 points respectively.

“Was scary, really scary. When I looked at the big screen, I just saw the screen one time, I was seeing Aleix on the gravel and a blue bike there," Bagnaia said as he reflected on the Dutch MotoGP race.
“So, I imagined it was Fabio with Aleix, so for sure we had a bit of luck. But then I just said ‘ok, I can be more relaxed, I can do my race with more calm’. But looking at the gap with [Marco] Bezzecchi, he was always catching.
“So, I had to push again, I had to open this gap again to be smarter and more calm again later in the race. But then the rain came. When I saw the rain I just slowed down a bit, but Bezzecchi was pushing again," he continued.
“So, it was very difficult. I was terrified to crash again, so the main thing was to finish the race. It wasn’t easy, but I tried to be smart, I tried to not push over the limit.”
Ducati are placed at the top of the Constructors' championship standings and they are followed by Yamaha and Aprilia respectively.
