Sri Lanka will face off with South Africa in the third ODI match which is set to take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy on Sunday.
South Africa won by 4 wickets with 43 balls to spare - completing the Dambulla double over Sri Lanka and they went 2-0 up in the five-match
ODI series on Wednesday.
Niroshan Dickwella (69 off 78 balls, 10 fours) and Angelo Mathews ((79 not out off 111 balls, 6 fours) were the Lions' best players on the day.
Sri Lanka captain Matthews will be keen to lead his side to victory in the third ODI match and keep team's hopes of winning the series alive.
Meanwhile, Andile Phehlukwayo and Quinton De Kock played an important role in helping South Africa's Proteas win in midweek.
Man of the Match De Kock (87 off 78 balls, 13 fours and a six) was the major contributor, while Phehlukwayo claimed three wickets.
A victory for the Proteas on Sunday will see them win the five-match ODI series.
